Bangkok Trip Day 4 (Last Day)

Day 4: Breakfast @ Urban House

We'll be going to Chatucak before heading to the airport.
Thus will need to eat something light before we start the "war" in Chatucak.

*Toast bread +Milk+Orange*

Since most of the shops are still in the midst of opening when we arrived, thus we went to a shop and ordered some food before we really start to walk.

*Stewed Pork Rice with egg*

*Pork balls noodles*

It was so so so HOT and STUFFY walking inside Chatucak. And we kept on walking around the same area. We were so tired and just wanna sit down to have a rest after walking for maybe 1-2 hours. Ended up in this stall which is selling stewed pork rice too. The owner can speak Teo Chew, easier for us to order food instead of pointing here and there.

The Stewed Pork is so tasty as compare to the previous stall we went.
It's only RM 3 per plate!!
The gravy is so nice till I finished the whole plate of rice.

Aunty is also selling Kuey Teow with Fish Balls (RM3).
Bro likes the Stewed Pork so much till he wanna order and take away back to KL!
He really did that, but only buying a pack which cost RM 10.
Didn't dare to buy the whole Pork Knuckle as we were afraid that the security in the airport will thought that we were carrying liquid bomb!! (豬腳bomb^^)

After the yummylicious Stewed Pork, time for us going back to the guest house to pack our things. (Just to put everything into the luggage)

We still have some free time after the packing part...So...Fuji, we are coming again!!!
Went to Fuji in Silom Complex.
Eating again!!! But we ordered the food to share.

*The Special Lunch Set, around RM 20++*

*The beef cubes are so tender & juicy*

*The sweet sauce is so nice to go with the fine garlic and celery*

*So happy as I'm surrounded with Yummy Food!!!*

*This grilled sotong tasted X100 times better than T&K Seafood*

*Fried Udon*

After the satisfying lunch at Fuji, it was time for us to go back to guest house to catch the cab to airport.
Our makan trip didn't end just like that, we had the VAT refund got back RM 60++.
Spending the money to eat at Mango Tree in the airport.

*Fried Pad Thai, the one in Siam Paragon still is the best I had for this trip*

*Fried Rice with Prawns*

Okay, so this is it for my trip to Bangkok this round.
Definetely a satisfying eating trip.
I shall end this post with a very satisfying pic too....................

The next stop

After spending 2 days in Cherating beach, it's time for us to go to Kuantan!

We stayed at this apartment nearby Teluk Cempedak which is having a magnificent seaview from the room!

Went for a walk in Teluk Cempedak, nothing much to do there.
The beach is not as clean as Cherating Beach, and the weather was so hot that day!

Makan-ing along the journey

When I heard about Famous Fish Noodle in Kemaman (魚面), I thought that the noodle is made of fish meat.

But it's totally the other way round!!!

This is what they called as Fish Noodle:

Steam Kampong Fish with homemade Belacan

Curry Noodle

Of course the famous Otak-Otak and Satak at Kuala Kemaman is a must-try too.
So what is Satak??
This is the Fried Satak. Basically just fried fish meat.
Doesn't looks good, but surprisingly tasted good!!!

Too bad the otak-otak is not on sale as the stall didn't open.
Thus, we ordered other food like Deep Fried Kampong Fish in Malay style,
Mee Rebus, and their in-house specialty Fried Ice Cream!

Okay, so this stop was just our tea-time snack.

For the breakfast next morning, we went to Kemaman again to hunt for the famous coffee at "Hai Peng" Kopitiam.

The coffee is really nice!! So do the kaya toast and Nasi Dagang!!
And they only have kaya toast in bun type, not normal kaya toast in bread slice.
The gravy goes so well with the nasi!! And the portion is so small that I can finish 3 packs!!
But not cheap to eat here. The price is the same as in KL.
A small pack of Nasi Dagang costs RM 2.

On the way back to resort, we met with some special friends at the guard house!

I want more Food!!!

Bangkok Trip Day 2

We left the guest house around 10am and decided to have late breakfast
at Central Food Court.
Since we didn't get to eat there last night.

We ordered these:

*of course not all!!!*

*But this one - Fried Oyster Omelette*

*Yum Yum!! So FRESH!!*

*Frying my oyster omelette*

*Super crunchy!!!*

*Really nice to go with the Thai Chili Sauce*

*Fish Balls Kuey Teow*

The Kuey Teow just tasted so-so. But with lots of fish balls! 60 baht

*Braised Pork with Rice*

Thumbs up for this!! The gravy is so tasty to go with the rice.
And the pork is just nice to eat.
90 baht for this set.

*Very Yummy!!*

Okay, below is the pic which shows the Thai version of Toys 'R' Us:

*Me with the Thai giraffe*

While mum and I were trapped at Naraya, Dad was having his tea-time at Starbucks.

No one kacau us so we shopped happily in Naraya.

After some shopping in Naraya, it was time for lunch!
We wanted to have Japanese Food, so here we are!!
FUJI^^

*Bro ordered the Shabu-shabu set - 170 baht*

*My Tonkatsu Set - 120 baht*

* Mum ordered the Special Steak Lunch (Chicken) Set - 150 baht*

* Very juicy!*

*Dad's Yakiniku Beef Set - 150 baht*

*Assorted Tempura - 210 baht with 5 prawns!!!*

Overall, we had a good experience in eating at Fuji.
The service is good & efficient.
Food being served very fast once we ordered.
Furthermore, the food is very nice!!!
Good quality of food in low prices!!!
If we had this meal in KL, I think it will cost us around RM 150++.
But the same meal in Bangkok only cost us 880 baht!!!
Half of the price!!
I'll definitely be visiting FUJI very often when I'm in Bangkok next trip! hohoho!!!

I saw this "LOVE" sign inside of Central. Reminds me of the Japanese dramas.
We went back to the guest house after lunch for some rests.

We decided to settle our dinner at Siam Paragon.
As it was so hot outside, better eat at some air-conditioner eateries.

This was our dinner place, I forgot the English name for it.

And we ordered Tom Yum Kung, Pad Thai, Fried Fish and Fried Pork Slices.

*Tom Yum Kung*

*Pad Thai*

*Fried Fish*

*Side Dish with Fried Fish*

*Fried Pork Slices*

Right after dinner, we went to the supermarket to grab some food stuffs like Green Curry Tuna, Chips, Fruits and mango sticky rice as supper!!

Before heading home, we stopped by at Swensen's for ice cream!

*Chocolate Tower*

*And this is our supper*

*Super sweet & juicy mangoes, 150 baht for 2.

This ended our second day in Bangkok.
