We had such an awesome K nite outing last Saturday @ Neway Centro, Klang.
It was to celebrate Yvon & YY's birthday too!
The real Eddy is finally BACK!
He's such a joker, a real JOKER all the time! No fail one!!!
Thanks for the cute strawberry hat!
It reminds me the trip to Cameron!
Haha~

Hello, Setiawan!
Had a lots of fun during the trip!
Makan a lots too, something different from what we usually have in KL.
Finally get to try the Gong Pieh that HW always mentioned to us, I prefer Gong Pieh rather than Siew Pau!
Sometime, it's good to have a mini getaway during the weekend to suburb like this with a gang of friends!

Korean Dinner @ Top Spice 17052009
This is a long waiting makan gathering.
As I'm craving for Korean Food for few weeks till all of them are free to meet up yesterday night.
We were supposed to go to the Korean restaurant at Tmn Desa but since they only came and pick me up at around 8pm, so it's better to grab our dinner somewhere nearby instead of going so far.
I told them to try on this Top Spice Korean restaurant at Bdr Puteri Puchong.
I have been there once with mom, and I think the food is not bad and the price is reasonable too.
The Korean boss is also a very nice and friendly guy, worth for revisit =)
And they will also give out free dessert towards the end of the dinner!
We ordered Combi Set C (RM79) for the grilled pork belly, marinated chicken & pork.
1 Kimchi Soup set (RM15) and a seafood pancake (RM35).
The seafood pancake is really good! Quite a lots of seafood ingredients like squids, prawns.
So I think it's worth the price of paying RM 35 for that.
And of course not to forget multiple plates of side dishes which are free refillable!

Summary for past weekend
It has been sometime since my last post.
Here will be the summary of what I did during the past weekend!
06/03/2009 (Friday)
Went for a drink after work in Tavern @ GAB.
It's the in-house pub in Guinness.
So we get to enjoy free flow of beers which Guinness has.
Millons Thanks to Ying for organizing this drinking session, as she needs to register us 1 month in advance.
As you know, a lot of people will grab for free thingy especially during economy crisis!

Mom told me she got me a Fendi bag that night!

I think it's good to go with a simple T + Jeans + High Heel =)
I have been controlling my spending these few months.
All gearing up for the trip to Bangkok! woohoo~
07/03/2009 (Sat)
Tumpang Lu Yee & her brother's car to Klang as her brother wanna discussed his future career thingy with Jet. We went to have Bak Kut Teh, Fried Chicken & Yoyo Ice.
Weight gaining session again!
08/03/2009 (Sun)
Went to the old flat with grandma and mum to see how is it after the renovation.
And I saw this insect with a caterpillar.
I thought it was an insect with a small piece of green leaf till my cousin pointed out to me that it was not a piece of green leaf but it's a Caterpillar!
Amazing! It's like watching the live telecast of Discovery Channel!

Later that night we went to have our dinner @ Old Klang Road.
No wonder everytime pass by also so many diners, it's so cheap to eat there!
We have ordered Steam Fish Head, Bak Kut Teh (1 person), You Char Koey & Tofu.
All in only RM 30+.

09/03/2009 (Mon)
Yes, it's a Public Holiday today!
I slept till 1pm++...
Went to grandma's house for dinner and the next door aunty has cooked us Curry Laksa!
Yummy!

Boxing Day Outing
26/12/2008
I still remembered I was shopping all day long when I was still in Australia on Boxing Day. As every shop will be having big sale! Hard to resist that kind of discounts!
But there's no special sale during this day in Malaysia.
So my friends and I went for movie and makan instead of shopping.
We went to have our boxing day's lunch at Manhantan Fish market.
The food is okay, but fried muchrooms will be the best for me!
It similars to those in TGIF.

We went for YES MAN right after lunch.
It's a little boring during the start of the show.
But it's getting funny in the middle part.
I got the message of the movie:
After the movie, Kiew and Seng kept on persuading me to go for the second movie which is IP MAN. They told me it's super nice and worth watching!
Since the others guys were fine with our decision to go for the second movie, so there we went and got the tickets for IP MAN.

I haven't watch any HK movies for quite sometimes due to the storyline and the quality of the films.
However IP MAN is really an impressive martial art kind of movie.
Donnie Yen really put in effort in learning the WING CHUN style of martial art.
But I was wondering how and where did WING CHUN originated from?
Jet told us WING CHUN is originated by a local Buddhist nun, Ng Mui.
I thought he was just simply answering our question.
So I went home and wiki-ed for more details.
Yeah, he was right!
According to the wiki info, Ng Mui took the lessons she learned from observing the fight between the snake and the crane and combined them with her own knowledge of Shaolin Kung Fu to create a new style.
Ng Mui often bought her bean curd at the tofu shop of Yim Yee (嚴二). Yim Yee had a daughter named Yim Wing Chun (嚴詠春) whom a local warlord was trying to force into marriage. Ng Mui taught her new fighting style to Wing-Chun, who used it to fend off the warlord once and for all. Wing-Chun eventually married a man she loved, Leung Bok-Chao (梁博儔), to whom she taught the fighting techniques that Ng Mui had passed on to her. Husband and wife in turn passed the new style on to others (from wikipedia).
Thus after watching this movie, it made me understanding more about the history of WING CHUN!
I'll rate this movie 9/10 for the excellent martial art scenes!

Only saying YES from your heart instead of everything that comes into our life.

Strawberry Shortcake Trip Part 2
21/12/2008
All of us still managed to wake up on time at 8am.
We had our breakfast at this mamak stall in Tanah Rata.
The weather is so cold in the early morning!
That made us need to finish our food faster, if not the food will definitely becoming cold as well!

Look at this coconut tree which is just in front of us, the strong wind which made it became senget in style huh!!!
We went to visit Boh Tea Plantation at Sungai Palas right after breakfast to avoid the crowds especially it was a Sunday.
The road sign showed that it was just a merely 2km drive to go in there.
However, due to the super winding road and slopes, it made me felt that the journey is more than 2km!
I really salute to those people who walk into the tea plantation!
As the road is so small and dangerous. At one point in a slope corner, only 1 car is allows to pass by while the other cars will need to stop nearby first in order to let the car from the another direction to drive pass.
Anyway, it's worthwhile going there as the view is spectacular!!!

On our way going up to the tea center.

The cafe where we had our tea and scones!

Finally we had arrived at the tea center!

The scone is better than the one in T-cafe! More expensive too, RM 5 per scone!
But no fresh strawberry jam and cream, too bad!!!

We ordered 2 scones and 2 pots of tea to share.
Earl grey tea is very nice to go with scones!
But eating here is not cheap, as the tea doesn't charge in per pot but in per person basis, which is RM 3 pp.
They will also charged for refilling the hot water, RM 1.50 per pot.
Well, tourist place is all about money!

But I'm in love with the view up there!!!
After the visitation to the tea center, we went to the some nearby shops along the road to walk around.
Jet has been waiting for the chips for so LONGGGGGGGGG!!!
The service is super duper SLOW!!!
We also went to Smoke House for pictures taking purpose.

But we couldn't enter further into Smoke House as it was dedicated for their in-house guests and patrons only.
It was almost lunch time after all the visitation.
Time for us to go back to the apartment to check-out and have a light lunch before heading down.

The left over from the drinking session last night.

And we had this Tang Yuen as the happy ending for our lunch at Cameron!
