I love Japanese Magazines!!! weee!!!

I should have blog about this long time ago.
I brought back 3 Japanese magazines during my Japan trip in August.
One must be crazy to bring 3 thick magazines back home, but I just couldn't resist myself from buying it.

WHY SO?

Well, it's because of the free gift that the magazine is giving away.
Ok, you must think that I'm a cheapskate fella.

But take a look at the free gifts first ;-P

A Tsumori Chisato metal box.
This is one of my favorite Japanese brand!
Of course I will be buying this mag in order to get the box.
It's quite useful too, as it can be a pencil box or make-up box or just chunk in anything to store in the box.

This is from PS mag.

Ok, I admit I bought this in a rush. As we were rushing to board on the flight while we were still busy choosing which magazine should we buy at the airport.
It's not for the content of the mag, but what kind of free gift we would like to have!

This is a little bento bag of Rodeo Crowns from Cawaii Mag.

Well, this is the free gift that really luring me into this magazine fever!

A free scarf from COACH!!!
This was the 20th Anniversary free gift from MISS mag.
And it was selling like hot cake in every convenient shops.
Thus when I saw this in one of the shop, I quickly grab it without second thought.
Billy got the last one left in that store.
Both of us have been walking around carrying this thick like a textbook magazine for more than half of the day in Tokyo!
Gosh, it was so tired!

Even though the quality of the scarf is not smooth enough.
But who cares, it's free anyway.
Freebies like this can't ask for more, right?

It can be used as an accessories on the bag like this:

There are many other ways that were showed in the magazine on how to use this scarf. But I have yet to try on it.

Gathering of Sr.2A (Class of 2000)

It was such a great gathering that I met back with my long lost high school mates!!!
I have not seen some of them since we had graduated 8 years ago!

Well, everything is the same as the way we were in the class last time!
The way we talk, we laugh and we act!
Glad to know that all of us are living and working well.
I hope our class monitor will hold this kind of gathering for few times a year.
As it is good to catch them up to chat, to update whatever latest news among us!
hehe =)

Shopping Haul for December 2008

I wanted to post about this one piece from Urban & Co which I had bought in Metrojaya.
A really great bargain as I got this dress for RM 130, after 50% discount.
You know what, few weeks before I saw this dress was only having 30% , but for now, it's already having 50% discount!

This dress looks exactly like the one I saw in J mags before.
Surely it will cost a bomb if I bought a similar one in Japan.

On another note, my aunt and cousins got these stuffs for me during their Taiwan trip.

This is such a mini lipgloss where it can be an mobile phone accessorries! So cute!

Penang!

The food we had in Penang...drools!!! =)

Nasi Kandar before crossing over Penang Bridge

but this cost us a bomb!
RM 9.60 for my plate above, which has Fried drumstick, sotong, veggies.

Makan- makan @ Gurney Drive
This is a typical tourists place, food is so-so only.

Pasembur
Something similar to Indian Rojak, you can pick anything you like from the stall.

And the man will cut and dance in front of you, very funny!
Not cheap too, we picked tofu, a few fried thingy and sotong, already cost us RM 10 for that plate.

One of the Penang Signature hawker food - Hokkien Prawn Mee
RM 3, taste not bad for this bowl.

Muachee fever!!!
I love muachee!!!

Fried Oysters!
Really Oily!

Pork Satay, RM 0.50 per stick.
It's like grilled pork that I had in Bangkok.

Breakfast @ the hotel

I like the idea of putting the yogurt & mixed cut fruits cubes into small bottle like these!

Laksa @ Ayer Itam Pasar
Really nice and cheap, only RM 2.50 per bowl!
The only assam laksa that I can finish all the soup.

Famous Teachew Cendol @ Penang Road

RM 1.60 per bowl.
Just nice, not too sweet.
