HanaKimi

I have been watching HanaKimi till episode 8, well, it's a drama which was adapted from a comic series, so I think it has some similarities with another drama "It started with a Kiss". However, both dramas are nice to watch, coz it's funny and silly in some parts of it, which will not happen in reality I supposed.

And only in this drama I found out more about Wu Chun. Even though earlier I did hear about him from his boyband "Farenhit", but didn't bother much about that coz once I heard them singing in the TVBS Countdown Party, with the song " Dui Ni You Gan Jue" which was supposed to duet with Hebe, but she was not around so ended up only those few guys were singing, hmm, still need lots of improvements.

But in this drama as the main actor's personality is someone who's quiet and cool, so Wu Chun fits well in it. His tatoos are very cool too!! Some parts of this drama will really make you laugh till you drop, haha!! By the way, I think Wu Chun looks a bit like Lee Hom and Kelly Chan's brother, (which was once an artiste). He's cute!!

As for Ella, she's a funny person too. Noticed that from those behind scene video clips, which always seeing her disturbing ppl or telling jokes. I was quite touch when I saw her crying in the Celebration Party for the end of shooting for this drama, coz all of them have been together for a few months for the shooting of Hanakim, and now all have come to an end.
All in all, if you love "It started with a Kiss", you'll definetely love "HanaKimi" too!! What are you waiting for? Watch it now!!

Enclosed are some pics from the drama!!

Pre X'mas Dinner @ izzy's NorthPoint

We had our Pre X'mas Dinner last Friday (15/12/2006) at this new bistro+ bar restaurant "izzy's" which is located at NorthPoint, Mid Valley. Our dinner menu is based on Buffet style, which starts from appetisers to desserts. The place is quite cosy and comfortable, but a bit cold as it was raining that nite. However, I think it gave me a similar feel which I was in Prawn Farm, NZ. As the deco there are mostly wooden style. There's a very beautiful X'mas tree in the restaurant too!! Oh, really give us a great X'mas *hehe* All the food is super yummy!!! What I love the most will be Caesar's Salad (it goes well with porch egg!!), Steak Pie and the Mash Potatoes! Steak Pie is really delicious, crunchy yet full of beef and carrots chunks! As for the desserts, we had French Chocolate Brownies and Banana Pudding!! Woah, it was really a great dinner. I preferred the brownies more than the pudding, coz brownies goes well with ice cream! Reminds me the brownies we had in chillis, super yummy!! The food that I don't really enjoy will be the chilli mussels and grilled chicken pasta, I don't like the spicy taste of it, still prefer cheesy style rather than spicy flavour!

TU LONG

It's a new La Mian restaurant located opposite of Starbucks, Mid Valley. According to the manager, their famous food is "La Mian" and "Xiao Loong Pau" .

11th December 2006, was the 1st day of their business. I don't think they had the grand opening yet, as I didn't see any lion dance nor cocktail party. As it's really a typical Chinese Restaurant, so I think they should have lion dance thingy for their grand opening. If not, probably some of the MY FM's DJs will be there coz it's owns by one of them. No wonder I saw one of the DJ quite often when the restaurant was renovating.

Since it's just located downstair of my office, so definetely me and my colleagues will go and try it out! Sad to say, the food and service are really dissapointing. I don't think we'll go there again n the near future, probably will only give it a visit if they have tea-time special on Xiao Loong Pau!

Ok, first when we sat at the table, it wasn't clean thoroughly. There was still a plate of vinegar which was left by the customer before us, and also a blank napkin cover. After the waitress took down our order, we waited for half and hour, but the food still didn't arrive yet, only the "Huo Tie" which arrived the fastest among ALL the food that we ordered. After asking the manager to check again on our order, we only got to know that there was no electricity in the kitchen, so they couldn't manage to fried my"Yang Cheng Fried Chicken La Mian" nor the " Fried Pork Ribs La Mian", so the manager asked us to order others La Mian in order to replace our previous order. I wonder if we didn't ask the manager to check back our order with the kitchen, I think we shall be sitting there for nearly 1 hour but to wait for nothing! Even the "Xiao Loong Pau" also have to wait for so darn long then only come out!!

Ok, talk back about the La Mian, since it's their famous food, but for the "Tan Tan La Mian" (or is it "Si Chuan Tan Tan La Mian"), gosh, I found out there's no ingredients in the La Mian. What they have is only the mee, spicy soup and white sesame! You can't find any meat in it! The soup is a bit spicy and it's full of white sesame, so it'll be like you're eating sesame noodle as the sesame flavours has overcome the flavour of the noodle. Please bear in mind, it costs RM 12 (If I'm not wrong, around that price, won't be cheaper than RM 10) with that "Tan Tan Mian" which has nothing in it except SESAME!!! Moreover, don't think that their La Mian is that nice too!! Oh yeah, we did ask the manager about the issue of "Why there's no ingredients like minced pork meat in the Tan Tan Mian"? and he told us this Tan Tan Mian version is like this one, as you can see, our chefs are from China, so this is their style of it! Ooo, RM 12 not included tax and service charge yet for a bowl of noodle with plain soup only, they really can serve it out to their customers ooo!!!

As for their "Xue Cai Rou Si La Mian", gosh, they gave you a bunch of Xue Cai like it's FOC, but only 2 TINY pieces of minced meat !! So you can imagine the La Mian is mostly cover with Xue Cai ONLY!!! And this costs around RM 12. My bro ordered "Fried Eel La Mian", oh my, they overcooked the mee, it was so soft! Well, you can see a few pieces of eel in the mee this time, much better!

Oh yeah, their napkin costs RM 1 each, and those napkins is exactly like those that we'll be using during dinner at those no name restaurants! If the napkin is like those that we have in Dragon-I, then RM 1 for it is still consider reasonable, as it's really packs nicely. But for the cheapo one, you charge RM 1 then it's really too much!!
The MOST recommended food of Tu Loong will be their Xiao Loong Pau, Huo Tie those stuffs.

But I think you can go there to try out their food if only you have spare time to waste! If not, it just wasting your time to wait for the food to come! However, I don't know if they have improve their serving time or not now, but I prefer Crystal Jade Palace in Lot 10 which is serving almost the same food as Tu Loong! Tu Long, Crystal Jade in Lot 10 and Dragon-I, all are serving the same food, and their menu is 99% the same!

After coming back from the restaurant, we realised that we had a food smell on our body, probably is the smell of the La Mian soup! As they're practicing somesort of open kitchen concept, so you'll get to smell it once you go to the upper floor of the restaurant. No doubt they have a nice design and deco for the restaurant, but for the food, they really need to be improved! However, I think their master chef got a cert for dunno what record one, probably when I ate that day, the La Mian wasn't cooked by him!

New Blog!

^Eating French Chocolate Brownies, darn Sweet!!^

Ok, I think Window Live Space is not a good place for me to blog as the outline of the post always doesn't come out nicely. Even though I had tried to adjust it, and sometimes it's also difficult for me to edit or change the HTML codes, always hang in the middle or have to wait for a long time for the page to reload.

So from now on, I'll be blogging here! I hope that the pics that I had edited using Magical Maker will come out nicely with the effects at here as well!

Let's try one and see how's the effect...
Hmm, it's still the same, can't see the *shinning shinning* or *sparkling sparkling* effects!
Anyhow, just let it be first, at least I did add some layouts for the pic, so that it will not looks so dull and boring! *smile*
