Had a lots of fun during the trip! Makan a lots too, something different from what we usually have in KL. Finally get to try the Gong Pieh that HW always mentioned to us, I prefer Gong Pieh rather than Siew Pau! Sometime, it's good to have a mini getaway during the weekend to suburb like this with a gang of friends!
This is a long waiting makan gathering. As I'm craving for Korean Food for few weeks till all of them are free to meet up yesterday night. We were supposed to go to the Korean restaurant at Tmn Desa but since they only came and pick me up at around 8pm, so it's better to grab our dinner somewhere nearby instead of going so far.
I told them to try on this Top Spice Korean restaurant at Bdr Puteri Puchong. I have been there once with mom, and I think the food is not bad and the price is reasonable too. The Korean boss is also a very nice and friendly guy, worth for revisit =) And they will also give out free dessert towards the end of the dinner!
We ordered Combi Set C (RM79) for the grilled pork belly, marinated chicken & pork. 1 Kimchi Soup set (RM15) and a seafood pancake (RM35). The seafood pancake is really good! Quite a lots of seafood ingredients like squids, prawns. So I think it's worth the price of paying RM 35 for that. And of course not to forget multiple plates of side dishes which are free refillable!
We arrived quite early, at around 7.30pm. I didn't take any pic or video as I wanna fully concentrate on the concert itself. The sound and lighting systems are great! I like the fireworks as well, especially when he was singing "花田錯"! But our seating (RM198) is a bit far I think. And it was quite hot that night! Well, I did enjoy the concert very much from the start till the end =) I hope he's enjoying the concert as well, haha =p Maybe next time when Jacky Cheung is having concert, I'll go with you la!
Found this video from youtube, almost towards the end of the concert. Kiss Goodbye! Muacksssssss~
This was the day where we were heading off to Chatucak Weekend Market. Had our breakfast at the guesthouse, toast breads, fruit juice & fresh milk.
We took the train to Chatucak to avoid the traffic jam. And then we just walked and walked and walked around Chatucak till it was lunch time! Well, a vendor recommended us to eat at this small stall...as we really have no idea where to stop and eat that time...very blur, tired & hot!!!
My basil pork rice....I was craving for rice to eat, too hungry after so much walking!!!
Both of them ordered Pork Noodles. Not bad, ard 30-40 baht per plate. Right after lunch, we continue our journey in Chatucak till it was around 4pm. Then we headed back to guesthouse to put our stuffs. Didn't buy a lot there, just a few clothes and accessories.
On our way back to guesthouse by train, we saw there are lots of stall along the street of Victory Monument.
Just like a night market!
So we asked Huang when we were back in the guesthouse about the stalls there. Huang told us they're mainly selling clothes for the Uni's students, so prices will be cheaper! Mostly local people will shop around that area. So off we went to Victory Monument for another shopping trip that night. And we timed ourselves that we need to make a move to BIG C supermarket at 9.30pm.
Since we were around BIG C area, we went to have Chicken Rice as our supper. I miss the pepper soup!!!
Time to go home after a day of non-stop walking! As we'll need to wake up very early for our train trip the next day!
Selected make-up items from Sheseido Maquillage is having 50% off from now till 31/08/2009!! Available @ every Sheseido counters!!! Check it out girls!!
I bought a pinkish nail polish, RM 17.50 after discount. And an eyeshadow pallette for Jo's bday gift! I have enough of eyeshadows (especially MAC pigments), that's why I didn't buy any this round. But Maquillage single eyeshadow is really not bad. It's only RM 17 after discount. My favourite will be RD748, it's a very dark 酒紅色!
Celebrated it on the actual day with the bunch of lovely friends! It was a lovely Saturday night too! Had our dinner at a Japanese restaurant which is at Bdr Puteri Puchong. Too bad Eddy couldn't make it that night! As I'm really eager to receive his present this year! It shall be the 4th hat from him! hahaha~
